So great to discover another lover of clarity!

Our two posts on this topic make a great pair, too. Maybe we should create a joint post integrating?

You too. Probably better just to recommend each, which I just tried to do with yours. (This is the only social media I do, so I may have gotten it wrong.) The Trump/Evangelical phenomenon has parallels during the first information revolution, which started with Gutenberg but was really set in motion by Aldus and his octavos. That led to the Reformation, the Counter-reformation, and the wars of religion. Back then, they got through it and moved into the Enlightenment. I just hope we'll be as fortunate.

Good idea. I’ll do yours. Haven’t seen yours for mine, so I may need to learn ya how to do it.

BTW, do you know I wrote a book about Anne Boleyn? She was among the early evangelicals, though of a very different sort!!

Will do. I hit "follow" but I'll do subscribe. I'll try to figure the rest out. Probably have to do a note. I really am incredibly lame at all this stuff. Didn't know about your Anne Boleyn book. You'd be interested in my wife's work. Nancy Goldstone. She does women in European history who were enormously influential but never got credit for it. We have a coffee cup that reads, "History makes a lot more sense when you put the women back in."

Okay. Just did it. When I subscribed there was a recommend button that I hit. Hope that does it.

That’s a good thing, but just appears on our stacks. To really spread the word, a note is the thing. You select a small, tempting piece of the stack, choose “restack with note” and then write a little rec on the note. Check out the one I just did for you on notes and it will be clearer.
